Education
Dr. Douglas Grace received his Bachelor of Science at the University of Waterloo and received his education in Plastic Surgery at the University of Toronto. He completed a 5 year surgical residency in plastic surgery after attaining his medical doctorate. Dr. Grace has received further specialized training in Cosmetic Surgery in Miami, Chicago and New York. Dr. Grace is a member of the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Ontario Physician’s Association, and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians.
Dr. Grace regularly attends Canadian and International Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery meetings. Dr. Grace is a regular speaker at the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgery. He has published papers in both the Canadian Journal of Plastic Surgery and the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Journal (US publication). Dr. Grace is consulted frequently by the media regarding plastic surgery and has appeared on CBC television to speak about Liposuction, CHCH Television, Daily Web TV, and has had 3 episodes on “Plastic Makes Perfect” on his minimally invasive laser liposuction and his “Yummy Mommy Makeover”. Dr. Douglas Grace is also available for selective speaking engagements.
Personal
Dr. Grace lives in Oakville, Ontario, with his wife, his two children and a Golden Retriever. In Dr. Grace’s off time he enjoys boating, skiing, gardening and working on one of his many “Mr. Fix it” projects around the house.
