Meet Dr. Roberto Tutino
Roberto Tutino, M.D., F.R.C.S. currently practices in both private and public settings. In the private setting, Dr. Tutino was hand selected by Dr. Grace for his expertise in both body and face procedures. He also completes over 150 breast surgery cases a year. His expertise in facelifts, necklifts and eyelid surgery have led him to become the lead surgeon of The Grace Clinic team in facial plastic surgery. Dr. Tutino is an active staff surgeon at Trillium Health Partners where he is spearheading the Breast Reconstructive Surgery Program. He is also involved with the training of medical students and residents and is a lecturer in the Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Tutino undertook his undergraduate degree at McGill University. He was awarded the Dr. Joseph Tanzman award, J.W. McConnell award and the Emily Ross Crawford Scholarship for achieving a 4.0 GPA while majoring in Physiology. Dr. Tutino received early admission to McMaster Medical School and graduated from McMaster University medical school in 2008. He then completed a five year residency program at the University of Toronto in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
After becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada in 2013, Dr. Tutino completed a one-year fellowship in Melbourne, Australia. The fellowship included subspecialty training in breast surgery, aesthetic surgery and facial plastic surgery. The training was performed under world renown surgeons including Dr. Howard Webster, Dr. Dean Trotter, Dr. Richard Bloom and Dr. Bryan Mendelson.
