How does Vanquish™ Work?

Vanquish™ can be used to treat stubborn fat on the abdomen, waist, flanks, lower back and flanks, and inner/outer thighs. The treatment uses selective heating therapy to permanently damage surplus fat cells. It is recommended that patients drink plenty of water and remain hydrated throughout the treatment time period and keep to regular exercise routines. The BTL VANQUISH ME is the world’s most advanced system for generating deep heat within body tissues and adipose layers. It represents the only contactless and operator-independent Selective RF technology that targets the largest treatment area in a single session.

During a body sculpting treatment session, radiofrequency energy is admitted to the localized area(s) to heat up the fat cells. At a certain temperature, some of the fat cells perish. The body then filters the damaged fat cells through the natural lymphatic system and flushed them out of the system.

What to expect during treatment and recovery

Vanquish™ is an in-office, non-invasive treatment that takes about 45 minutes. The treatment applicator hovers above the targeted area and emits radiofrequency energy. The energy penetrates well-hydrated skin to reach unwanted fat. The heat from the radiofrequency energy warms the fat cells in that time period to over 100 degrees, at which temperature they are permanently destroyed. Over time, the body naturally filters the damaged fat cells through its lymphatic processes and flushes them out of the system. The treatment is relaxing. Some have described the treatment as compared to sitting under a warm blanket for 45 minutes. Thanks to the special design of the technology and equipment, the applicator does not come in contact with the body at all. It is calibrated to target the unwanted fat cells without damaging the surrounding tissue, overlying skin, hair follicles, or sweat glands.

There is no downtime associated with the Vanquish™ treatment. Patients can immediately resume their daily activities. The skin may be warm and slightly pink, but these side effects are minimal and subside quickly.

Patients require a minimum of 4 treatments spaced a week apart to achieve the desired results. Results may vary from patient to patient as each patient will respond differently. What to expect during your body contouring treatment and recovery

EmSculpt^® body sculpting treatment times can vary, but generally 30 minutes per treatment with a regimen of 4-6 treatments 2 days apart. Our Emsculpt^® providers will help you develop a plan to meet your specific goals. The Emsculpt^® procedure is non-invasive, so you can typically return to work and normal activities immediately. A difference in the treated area can be felt immediately after the first treatment. Most patients will notice optimal results within the 2 to 4 weeks following the treatment and these results will continue to improve in the following months. Emsculpt^® results emulate gym results in that the fat loss is permanent, but your muscle tone is dependent upon your lifestyle after the treatment.

Exilis^®

BTL EXILIS ULTRA is a state-of-the-art device for body contouring, fat removal, wrinkle reduction, and skin tightening.

The first and only device to simultaneously combine radiofrequency and ultrasound to tighten skin and address body concerns. Controlled heating and cooling ensure that energy is delivered to various depths in the tissue. What to expect during Exilis Body Sculpting treatment and recovery

Unlike many skin tightening treatments, BTL Exilis Ultra™ does not require anesthesia. The duration of your treatment will depend upon the size of the area being treated as well as the degree of skin laxity you are experiencing.

The device heats to a set temperature (typically between 105ºF and 109ºF) and then automatically cools, allowing your doctor to treat both deep and superficial layers while ensuring the surface of your skin doesn’t burn. Once fat cells have been liquefied, your lymphatic system carries them away and expels them through urination.

Each treatment lasts about 15–30 minutes and delivers varying depths of heat, to tighten skin and reduce fat. The procedure is relatively pain-free (no anesthesia needed); your skin may feel hot or look red during the procedure, but this is temporary.
